Just under 8,000 fans turned out to watch Matt Murray’s final game for Wolves at the former keeper’s Testimonial match

A Wolves XI of former players from Molineux past, who were managed by goalkeeping legend Mike Stowell took on the celebrity and football legend filled All Stars, managed by Wolves legend Steve Bull.

The All Stars were captained by former Manchester United and Aston Villa player Dion Dublin, while Murray took the Wolves skipper’s armband for the first time in his career.

The back 5 from the 2003 Play Off Final – Murray, Irwin, Lescott, Butler and Naylor – were back together again for the first time since that famous win over Sheffield United at Cardiff.

Colin Cameron and Paul Ince looked comfortable back in the Wolves midfield with the latter seeing a few long range efforts fly just wide of the All Stars goal.
