In 1987-88 Wolves had been crowned 4th division champions and Steve Bull had plundered 52 goals when Wolves walked out at Wembley to play Burnley in the final of the Sherpa Van Trophy.




Andy Mutch headed the first,his 23rd goal of the season then Robbie curled home a beauty to win the game 2-0.




More than 50,000 Wolves fans were at the game,believed to be the largest one club exodus of all time to a game in England and in a match between two 4th division teams.
