Wolves matchworn shirts

                               Home shirt 2013/14

On Wednesday 19th March Danny Batth,Steve Bull and Jody Craddock were special guests at a charity night I organised for Birmingham Childrens hospital. Danny donated his unwashed shirt from the previous nights game at Crawley and I was the highest bidder.

Smelly, covered in mud,my favourite kind of shirt. Last worn away against Crawley, this has been worn in several previous games as confirmed by bobbling and Danny himself.

Top night at the Jody Craddock testimonial dinner on 14th November 2013.

Was presented with Leigh Griffith's unwashed shirt from the game at Colchester on 5th October 2013 when he scored twice in the 3-0 win.

Matt had promised me an unwashed Griff shirt for a good donation to the JC6 testimonial charity and it couldn't have come from a better game.

Unwashed, smelly, mud marks and from a known scoring game with undoubted proof, complete with his matchworn shorts.

Will probably go down as the most unique matchworn unwashed shirt of the season !Worn in the home game with Tranmere and donated to Birmingham Childrens Hospital.

Matchworn v Bristol City on 25th January 2014.Wolves won 3-1 with Dicko scoring twice,Sako with the other.

Sam Ricketts promised me a shirt for the collection a few weeks ago but never expected this.

He had two large poppy shirts match prepared then decided to wear medium so had two more prepared. Like all the players this season both shirts were handed over to Wolves Community trust for auction for the Royal British Legion.

Sam kept one of the large shirts for his own collection and donated the other to mine.

Signed x 26 players involved in the Stevenage and Oldham games when the poppy shirts were worn.

Another superb, matchworn, unwashed, shirt which James Henry scored in v Rotherham on 21st December 2013 added to the collection.James presented his shirt straight after the game to Gary Webb the former Reading FC coach who recently moved to Rotherham,James started his career at Reading.

He is cycling from London-Paris in April 2014 for Rotherham Hospice and the donation I gave for the shirt will go to that cause.

On the opening day of the season Preston v Wolves was one of the 6 fixtures celebrating 125 years of the football league .

The players were given anniversary tee shirts for the warm up and this is one of the worn shirts from the game.

A rare addition to the collection.
